Valentine Kasidhi is a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) graduate from the University of Nairobi with a strong foundation in legal research, legislative analysis, editorial work, authorship and alternative dispute resolution. He has ventured in legal scholarship through authorship of several published articles addressing constitutional development, labour dispute resolution, student governance, and business and human rights. His experience in editorial leadership, particularly as Head of Law Review at the University of Nairobi Law Journal, reflects a proven ability to manage teams, coordinate complex publication processes, and mentor writers to produce high-quality academic work. A certified professional mediator, he brings strong negotiation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills, enabling him to work effectively both independently and within multidisciplinary teams. Additionally, he undertook an internship at the National Council for Law Reporting (Kenya Law), where he contributed to legislative database management, legal editing, and the maintenance of Kenya’s national and county legislation records. His professional trajectory reflects a blend of intellectual rigor, practical legal training, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving. He aspires to contribute meaningfully to progressive jurisprudence and policy development through rigorous research, principled advocacy, and thought leadership in the legal profession.
